Reminder: Choose how your information is used and shared for Gmail, Google Chat, and Google Meet before January 25th, 2021

New Gmail, Google Chat, and Google Meet settings provide you more control over your information

	Dear prince,     You received an email two weeks back to let you know that we are launching two new settings for Gmail, Chat, and Meet to give you more control over your information and help support compliance requirements. With these settings you can choose how your information is used in Gmail, Chat, and Meet and in other products across Google.     If you have already made a choice, please disregard this email.     What do I need to know?     Smart features and personalization in Gmail, Chat and Meet is the first setting, and controls whether your Gmail, Chat, and Meet data can be used to offer smart features within each of these services. Smart features in Gmail, Chat, and Meet that depend on your data include:     •   Automatic email filtering/categorization (Primary/Social/Promotions)     •   Smart Compose and Smart Reply in email     •   Summary cards above your email (Package tracking, travel, and more)     •   Extracting event details to create calendar entries     Smart features and personalization in other Google products is the second setting, and controls whether your Gmail, Chat, and Meet data can be shared with other Google products to enable personalization features. Features in other Google products that depend on Gmail, Chat, and Meet data include:     •   Assistant reminders of your bills due     •   Maps displaying restaurant reservations     •   Travel bundling your itineraries     •   Google Pay showing loyalty cards     What do I need to do?     If you want to continue using the above features and more after January 25th, 2021, you need to choose in Gmail settings to keep these features on. If you have already made your choices for these settings on either your mobile Gmail app or desktop, no further action is needed. You can change these options in Gmail settings at any time. Learn more     From your desktop     If you're using a desktop, log in to your Gmail account to configure these settings for dasareen@gmail.com. Learn more     From your phone     If you're using your phone, open your Gmail app (available to install on both iOS and Android) to configure these settings for the dasareen@gmail.com account. If you're using the mobile Gmail app, but have not seen a prompt about these settings yet, you might have to update your app. If you are unable to update your app, you can still configure these settings from a desktop browser as described above. Reminder: Link ads are being retired on March 10th 2021

Responsive link ads will begin to serve display ads from March 10th 2021 Your Publisher ID: pub-0519336147998935 Sign In Retiring link ads We've decided to retire link ads. This is in order to modernize our available ad formats, based on the feedback from users, publishers and advertisers. Going forward, we'll be focussing on improving and developing other ad formats to help you grow. What does this mean? From March 10th 2021: • You will no longer be able to create link ad units. • Your link ad units will be renamed with [previously link ad unit] added to the end of the ad unit name. This will apply to both responsive and fixed-size link ad units. • Responsive link ads will begin to serve display ad units on your site(s). • Fixed-size link ads will stop serving on your site(s).We will collapse each ad unit where possible. In other cases we will show a blank ad. Your earnings Our experiments show that, for the vast majority of publishers, responsive display ads can perform as well as link ads. We are constantly optimizing responsive display ads to maximize performance. You will be able to monitor the performance of your link units through the ad units report to compare performance before and after. What to do next? There is no action required from you in relation to your responsive link ads as these will begin to serve display ads from March 10th 2021. We recommend that you remove the fixed-size link ad units from your site and try out the following ad formats instead: • You can let Auto ads scan your site and automatically place ads where they're likely to perform well. Learn more about how to create a display ad unit. • For a customized ad experience, you could try native ads. Learn more about how to create a native ad unit. • If your site is eligible for Matched content, you can replace your link ad units with a customizable Matched content ad unit.
