India booked a semifinal spot in the in the ICC World Twenty20 after defeating Sri Lanka by five wickets in a rain-hit match in Taunton on Monday. After Sri Lanka opted to bat first, India restricted them to a paltry 94 for six in the 18 overs. Deepika Rasangika (24) top-scored. Medium pacer Rumeli Dhar was the pick of bowlers as she finished with figures of 4-2-4-2. She was ably supported by left-arm spinner Gouher Sulatna who also picked up two wickets.
